The Club de Golf Sotogrande was founded in 1964 and is located in a natural environment which is ideal for all-year-round golf. Its designer, Robert Trent Jones is particularly proud of his work on this course. Anyone who plays it will confirm its unique design. Its beauty is enhanced by the impressive variety of vegetation found along the course.
This is a 27-hole golf course located in upper Sotogrande, 500 metres from Valderrama Golf Club and just five minutes from the beach. Surrounded by cork trees and Autochthonous pine, the course is crossed by several streams and these, in addition to the natural lake, combine to create the beauty of the course.
Club de Golf Valderrama hosted the 1997 Ryder Cup and the Volvo Masters Andalucía 2002,2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. Ranked number one in Continental Europe, this beautiful golf course is always in superb condition and enjoys an excellent international reputation.

La Cañada is the first public course on the Costa del Sol. It was designed by Robert Trent Jones, who also designed other courses in the area, such as Valderrama and Real Club de Golf Sotogrande. It is located on high ground in Guadiaro, the area with the highest proportion of golfers in Spain.
In ‘Alcaidesa’ wherever you turn your gaze golf is present in the 36 magnificent holes that are spread across the urbanisation. In addition to the classic Links-style course, there is a new course, open since 2007, called ‘Heathland’, which in its design returns to the landscape of soft hillocks and groves so typical of this area.
Alcaidesa Links Golf Resort means enjoying the only Links-type golf course in the south of Spain, 18 holes with spectacular views over the Mediterranean, Morocco and Gibraltar; a second 18-hole, Heathland-type course, kilometres of practically virgin beach, restaurants, hotels and properties for living all year round.

2002 saw work begin on the construction of The New Course - a second championship golf course at the Club. The new world class course - 6626 metres from the championship tees - aims to complement The Old Course, while presenting a very different challenge.
