Antequera Golf is blessed with views that inspire envy. Looking northwards from above one can see the fertile plain of Antequera , while to the south the golf course stretches out between mountains that lead up to the natural beauty spot of El Torcal. The design of the course, which is the work of twice winner of the Ryder Cup, José María Cañizares, is gratifyingly both original and entertaining. Not one of the 18 holes bears the slightest resemblance to any other on the course, and the player is given the chance to make use of all his clubs. 18 holes and 19 lakes form a water cycle that covers the entire playing area.
